Fear is a major limiting factor to the majority of the people globally. How an individual faces his/her worries determines their success. Some people use their worst fears to become successful. On the other hand, there are those who fail due to their inability to face their fears. Depending on how a person views it, fear could lead to happiness, increased strength, or being smart. After the many decades of experience as a successful businessman, Vijay Eswaran says that people should not fear their past or future. People should only focus on their present and do the best they can to ensure each moment counts.
Vijay states that there are three essential components of fear. First, a change in attitude can convert fear into excitement. For instance, people have different experiences when skydiving. Those who fear flying do not enjoy the experience while those who see it as a good opportunity to try out something different find it quite exciting. Kids are known to be extremely adventurous meaning that they are fearless. When a person grows old, fear encroaches leading to a different approach in terms of their source of excitement.
Vijay Eswaran says that as long as something does not injure a person, it only acts a source of strength. Vijay adds that once an individual starts engaging in an activity that he/she likes, fear comes. When such people are trying their best to achieve valuable things, fear becomes a limiting factor. Fear is also evident when a person tries out entirely different things. Vijay says that if a person does not fear anything, he/she should try to understand whether they are doing the right thing or headed the right direction.
According to Vijay Eswaran, fear should be used as a guide to actions. Fear allows people to identify their sources of weakness. Fear should not be considered as a source of failure but as a way of determining how things should be done the right way. Eswaran’s advice to people is to use fear as a way of getting the energy to carry out challenging things in life.
