Alex Pall: Being Part of a Phenomenon Like No Other

Alex Pall is one of the members of The Chainsmokers, a popular band is known for their hit singles like “Roses,” “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Closer.” According to Alex Pall, he was working as a DJ and an assistant at an art gallery before he met Drew Taggart and his manager. He was performing around the city of New York, but his career is highly unnoticed. He also revealed that being a DJ is just a sideline, and he is focusing more on becoming an art gallery assistant because it is paying more than his gig as a DJ. However, as more and more clubs around New York City knew of his skills and talent, his talent fee gradually increased, and it came a time that it has already surpassed his salary at the art gallery. Alex Pall revealed that music was already calling him, so he gave it a short and left his job at the art gallery to pursue a career on being a full-time DJ. He met his present manager in New York City, and his manager became the bridge for him to meet Drew Taggart, who came all the way from Maine to start a career in New York City.

In the beginning, Alex Pall does not have any idea what their manager’s plan is, but they slowly found out that their manager is creating a brand name for them, and they came up with The Chainsmokers as the duo’s name. Alex Pall and Drew Taggart started talking about their private lives, and because of their similarities and sharing the same interests, the two instantly became close friends. The two clicked immediately, and their manager started calling his networks to present the two. Alex Pall and Drew Taggart began their career by being a DJ around the city. Their manager would be the one looking for a place for them to perform, and they will be paid for the entire performance.

As Alex Pall and Drew Taggart discovered some of their hidden talents, they started to acquire more fans and their pay increased. In a short period, since their formation in 2012, the group has now transformed to become a global phenomenon.

For Cassio Audi, Remember His Youth Brings Fond Memories

Cassio Audi is a successful Brazilian entrepreneur but he is known in his native land as an entirely different person. For music fans that were tuned into Brazil’s music scene in the late 1980s, Audi is known as one of the founders of heavy metal band, Viper. Cassio Audi was the drummer of the popular band that first formed in 1985.The group was made up of five teenage classmates that initially had no plans to do anything but rock out in the garage after school and on weekends.

Soon the group had a small following and decided to record a demo record titled The Killera Sword. The demo was played all over Brazil and was an instant success. The group toured Brazil and Europe over the next several years and, with Audi on the drums, released their first studio album, Soldiers of Sunrise, in 1987. In 1989, Viper released their second studio album titled Theatre of Fate which was even better than the previous album.

Cassio Audi left the band to attend university in 1989 and went on to have a successful career as an entrepreneur. He will also be remembered by the thousands of fans all over the world that remember those teenage boys who took over their radios in the late 1980s. While the band is still making music, Audi has no dreams of getting back behind the drums. He fondly remembers his years with the band and still enjoys listening to the heavy metal music of his youth.

How The Chainsmokers are Turning the Page

The Chainsmokers have evolved quite a lot since their founding in 2012. Believe it or not, they first found big fame in 2015 when their hit “Roses” claimed its place on the Top 10. Although, most also remember the hit from 2014 entitled “Selfie”. And since then, their fan base has grown exponentially, and they have expanded the field for today’s rising artists. The Chainsmokers music style is a vast and ever changing combination composed of dance, hip-hop, pop, and indie. And to add to all of that they just released a new single this year called “Sick Boy”.

In an interview with Hugh McIntyre they speak of what may have inspired that single, and how it was brought to life. Drew Taggart explains that typically they release more music at sporadic but also constant times because they like to be current with all the compositions that they create. That gives their music more listener value and interest as well. Taggart also goes on to state that he feels “Sick Boy” is the start of a new chapter and that the duo is moving forward and turning the page for something new. He sheds a little light on the meaning of “Sick Boy” and the darkness within it.

Taggart then says, “The next topic is a little bit darker, but I think that’s the tone of society right now. Our stuff is always a reflection of what’s going on in our lives and the world around us.”

Taggart also begins to explain that he also wrote the song because he was becoming frustrated, and that he is angry because he feels that he has become a distortion of his true self. Then he states that this is in part because of the current world. Society encapsulates themselves in social media and anyone at any given time that shares bits of information can be misunderstood and misinterpreted. The darkness of “Sick Boy” is a representation of those with assuming minds and also a depiction of what’s bad around the world today.
